With only 50 MB of space available on their school folders, and due to the ‘legacy’ files that pupils have there, most haven’t much space to play with.

That’s a real bummer, but why aren’t they backing up their data to the home folders on the LTAD network? Or are you still off the radar with a Linux bootloader?

Thank you for the info about Live Mesh Mr Todd.

Almost on cue, one of the pupils in our Advanced Higher Graphics class lost his USB stick this week. Inevitably, he hadn’t bothered backing up its contents to his home PC, much less Dropbox. In consequence, he has lost all of the digital work he has done on the course so far.

If anyone is looking to get a hold of one they are now £48.99 on play.com and amazon.co.uk. This model is the Bamboo Pen (not Pen & Touch) but would allow you to do what Mr. Black’s class have been working on.

I’m very tempted myself!!!

1. the things i learned where that there are loads of diffrent types of bridges and that paper bridges hold a lot of weight.
2.the bit i liked the best was when we got to see what weight our bridges could hold.

2.The one thing i found tricky was building a bridge out of newspaper!
3.My favourite part of the project was when we were testing the bridges because you had to wait for it to fall!
4.i could of got the people in my group to participate more as i was the only one working on the bridge.
5.i think my teacher could have given us more tips on how to constuct our brigde!
