Pupils are busy conducting their research for their 4th year Craft and Design projects. At this stage pupils have searched the internet and other sources for as many images as possible related to their project to gather inspiration and ideas that they can take forward in the design process. The images are then displayed and annotated, highlighting any significant design features. In this class pupils have been researching many different types of tables and cabinets but also rabbit and duck hutches, goldfish tables, chairs, dog beds, fruit bowls and dolls houses.

Did a similar lesson last week. But focussed on Styles, and spiced it up with Scottish Styles, trying to tie in Homecoming.
Anhtropometrics lesson was good, do you get them to analyse – measure, test, score – furniture in the school ? eg PC chairs, stools, dining hall furniture, mavhine controls, mice ? They then find out what percentiles fit the chairs.
